STORAGE AND CARE OF PRODUCTS

 

To ensure that all R.A.D Bath + Body Products maintain their purity and effectiveness for as long as possible we suggest that our customers follow our basic storage suggestions. We do not use preservatives in our prodcts, as they are oil based. Introducing water to the product with wet hands or leaving uncapped in a damp bathroom will overtime lower the integrity of the product causing mold and bacteria to grow. Take special care of our products by following a few simple suggestions. 

 

STORAGE SUGGESTIONS 

  • Keep products out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

  • Stir and refrigerate if separation occurs due to heat.

  • Lids should be put back onto jars and bottles immediately after each use.

  • Use clean dry hands or a cosmetic spatula to remove product from jars. 

  • Do not allow water in jars or the possibility of mold growth exists.

  • Do not allow soap to sit in water or it will melt. Place bar in slotted soap dish.

 

REFUND/EXCHANGE

 

  • When you use a R.A.D Bath + Body product, you can be assured of quality and value in natural personal care. Our service begins from the moment you place your order. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any of our products, simply contact us for a prompt, courteous replacement, exchange or refund. MY ORDER WAS NOT RECEIVED / RECEIVED DAMAGED

  • Due to the personal nature of our items, we cannot accept returns, however we will replace damaged items.

 

  • Incorrect items or damaged items during transit require our attention, please contact us via telephone or email with your name and order number and we will do our best to assist you.

 

  • We do not offer replacements for incorrect shipping addresses or items shown as "delivered" in parcel tracking update. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Exchanges or returns in lieu of damage will not be accepted after 30 days from receipt.

 

SHIPPING FOR ALL ORDERS

  •  Your order will be shipped 1-3 business days from the day it was placed. At our busiest time of year (October - December), turnaround may be up to 5 days. We will contact you should there be exceptional delays.

 

  •  If you need an order expedited or an address changed on an order already placed, please contact us and we will be glad to make any necessary adjustments.

ARTISAN CODE OF CONDUCT 

Ingredients:
We promise that we strive to source and use only the finest quality ingredients in our products. We disclose all ingredients upon our Web site, product labeling, catalog or when asked by our customers. We also promise that we are knowledgeable about the safe and appropriate usage of the ingredients in our products.

 

Labeling:
We promise to label our products clearly, list ingredients and clearly describe any product safety precautions on our labeling. If our labels are too small to include all relevant information, we will provide outer packaging or accompanying product literature. We promise to comply with all laws that may apply to the proper labeling of our products.

 

Packaging:
We promise to package our products in appropriate packaging that protects our products and ensures the stability and safety of our products.

 

Shelf life:

We have undergone testing to confirm our products will last two years though we recommend using them within eight months because the nutrients in the oils, butters and essential oils are potent within this time frame. We do not use any preservatives, our products last because of the way they are formulated. Someday all skincare will leave out the water, synthetic chemicals and include essential oils and this will be the norm. 

 

Safety:
We promise to disclose any known possible product contraindications clearly on our Web site so customers have full disclosure prior to purchase. We also promise to mention all possible safety concerns on our product packaging/labels.

 

Marketing:
We promise that the marketing statements and methods that we use are honest and not misleading.

 

Customer Service:
We promise to provide excellent, timely service to all of our customers.

 

Returns:
We promise to make our return policies easy for customers to find and understand. Although our policies may not permit customers to return certain products, we promise to make corrections should we ship/sell the wrong product or should our packaging methods cause damage during shipment.

 

Shipping:
We promise to make our shipping methods clear to our customers and to ship via the method and timeframe that we state. We promise to package our products suitably to protect them from damage during transit.

  • Ingredients in our products are selected to ensure the ultimate in effectiveness, freshness and potency. Every ingredient serves a purpose in all formulations, and we absolutely do not include unnecessary fillers or artificial ingredients of any kind.

  • Our ingredients are chemical-free herbs, hydrosols, oils and butters that are either organic or wildcrafted.

  • Our oils are cold-pressed in order to bring you the highest content of antioxidants and vitamins, preserving the effectiveness of each ingredient.

  • We only use fresh, raw, pure and organic, your skin needs to feel alive, healthy and young.

 

 

ALWAYS CRUELTY FREE

We test all our products on real people and never, never on animals because we love them :)

 

MY PRODUCT ARRIVED MELTED OR FROZEN:

Not a problem. If the butters melted just throw it in the fridge or freezer (we recommend freezer). It will re-solidify and remain solid at room temp. If it arrives frozen just give it a couple of hours to thaw. Products are natural and sensitive to extreme heat or cold.

 

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER

When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment - this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.

 

SAMPLES

When requested with order. One sample per order. Our products generally come in 4 oz and 2 oz which are great for travel and to try the product before purchasing full size.

  • Sourcing:  R.A.D Bath + Body utilizes family farms, fair trade organizations and organic sustainable sources for ingredients, so there are no pesticides, harmful animal products or chemicals used. By focusing on these sources, we put sustainability first, so you can enjoy face + body products without worrying about social and environmental factors.

 

  • Animal welfare: We do not test products on animals or obtain ingredients from companies that do, so our customers can buy with  confidence that our skin care products did not harm a fury friend. 

 

  • Long shelf life: While the company's products last two years, we recommend using our products within eight months. Typically, organic skin care products expire or lose potency within 6-8 months.
